This web site and related services (ARC "MyChart") are provided by Austin Regional Clinic, P.A., and its management company Covenant Management Systems, LP (collectively, "ARC"), to provide convenient access to patient medical records.

MyChart is not designed for medical emergencies or urgent situations. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911. For urgent situations, call your doctor’s office or ARC After Hours Clinics at 512-272-4636. Read more about same-day and after hours care at ARC at https://www.austinregionalclinic.com/services/same-day-care and https://www.austinregionalclinic.com/services/arc-after-hours-clinic/

You do not have to use MyChart if you do not want to. If you decide to use MyChart, whether as a patient or as a proxy for your child or another person, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below. Read them carefully before using MyChart. ARC can change these terms and conditions at any time by posting an updated version on MyChart and without providing notice to you. Your continued use of MyChart constitutes your agreement to be bound by the latest version of these Terms and Conditions.

Privacy

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to ARC. All messages sent and received within MyChart that contain medical information are subject to all state and federal laws governing the security and confidentiality of medical records. When you send a message via MyChart, ARC team members who are not doctors or nurses may see and help answer your message. Please review ARC’s Notice of Privacy Practices for a thorough description of how we gather, use and protect your confidential medical information. Like most websites, MyChart collects general information regarding usage and users (including, without limitation, the domain of each user, the internet protocol address of each user, certain cookies, the medical records you access and release, and the date and time each web page was visited).

You should carefully choose the email address and telephone number used for MyChart. Anyone with access to this email account or telephone number may be able to see the notifications and gain access to your MyChart account (including your personal medical information).

Third Party Applications (Mobile Apps)

MyChart offers options to use applications of third parties unrelated to ARC to retrieve information about you from MyChart. ARC is not, and will not agree to be, a party to any agreements or understandings you may have with third parties concerning any of these applications. ARC does not endorse these applications, does not make any representations about the confidentiality, security, or integrity of information retrieved by these applications. You assume all risk associated with using these applications, including password breaches. If you decide to share your MyChart user ID and password directly with another application or website and later decide to revoke access, you must change your MyChart password.

Communications

You consent to being contacted by ARC, or its vendor, at any telephone number or email address that you have provided, including via email message, text message, voice, pre-recorded message, automatic dialing system, or artificial voice message, for both notifications concerning MyChart services and for other medical, business and promotional purposes. All communications between you and ARC using MyChart occur over a secure connection. You will receive unsecured e-mail messages notifying you that new information is available in your MyChart account. These e-mail messages, however, will not contain any confidential medical information.

Billing

You may access and pay your latest billing statements on MyChart. By signing up for MyChart, you agree that ARC may elect to send you electronic billing statements through MyChart instead of paper statements by U.S. Mail. You may opt out of electronic billing statements at any time by accessing account settings in MyChart.

If you elect to pay your statement online with a debit or credit card, ARC in its sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject the payment. By requesting the credit or debit card payment option, you hereby authorize us to bill and charge the card number that you provide. In the event we elect to so accept payment, we shall debit the applicable amounts from your card. In the event that your card expires or we are otherwise unable to debit the applicable amounts from your card, we shall provide notice to you, whereupon you immediately shall either (i) furnish in writing to us a valid card account number, or (ii) make payment to us in other immediately available funds, whether by check or otherwise.

Ownership

The words "ARC", "Austin Regional Clinic", and associated logos are the trademarks or service marks of ARC and all other trademarks, service marks, and logos used in the ARC MyChart Site, including but not limited to MyChart and Epic, are the trademarks, service marks, or logos of their respective owners. Nothing on ARC MyChart should be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademark, service mark, or logo displayed on ARC MyChart without the express permission of ARC or the third party that may own the trademark, service mark, or logo.

Termination of Access

MyChart is offered to make accessing health care records more convenient. If you want to deactivate your MyChart account please call MyChart Support at 512-272-4357. If you do not want your proxy to use MyChart to see your medical information anymore, you can revoke access via the “Friends and Family Access & Personalize Your Record” page. ARC may restrict or terminate access to MyChart at any time for any reason. If your use of MyChart is inappropriate, violates these Terms and Conditions, or disruptive to ARC’s business, ARC reserves the right to permanently terminate access to MyChart.

If you have proxy access to the medical records of your child or another person, access can be revoked at any time by ARC. Your access will also be revoked when your child turns 18, or your child is emancipated in accordance with applicable law.

Access Code and Medical Information

  • You will be asked to create a personal login name (called "MyChart ID") and a password. You agree to keep your login name and password completely confidential. Anyone with access to your MyChart ID and password will be able to access confidential medical information, read messages, and send new messages.
  • You agree that it is your responsibility to select a strong, confidential password, to maintain your password in a secure manner, to change your password regularly, and to change your password if you believe someone else may have it.
  • You should only access MyChart using links provided by ARC (such as https://mychart.austinregionalclinic.com/MyChart) while using a modern, up-to-date web browser. Do not access MyChart if the browser indicates that the site may not be secure.
  • You understand that MyChart contains selected, limited medical information from a patient's medical record and that MyChart may not reflect the complete contents of the medical record. A complete copy of your medical record may be requested from ARC's Release of Information Vendor. More information is available on our website - https://www.austinregionalclinic.com/patient-guide/patient-forms/release-of-information-forms
  • You understand that your providers may share important health information through MyChart, including test results, and it is your responsibility to view any information released into MyChart. Most, but not all, test results will be available through MyChart once the results are final. You may see results before your healthcare provider has had a chance to review them. You acknowledge that although test results may be available right away, your provider's office may take a few days to review them and give you additional information about the results when needed. If you have questions about your results and do not have a scheduled appointment or have not heard from your provider within a few days, you can contact your provider's office to schedule a follow up appointment.

MyChart Communication and Information

  • While ARC strives to answer messages sent via MyChart quickly, you understand that messages sent via MyChart are not appropriate for emergencies or urgent matters as they might not be addressed in a timely manner.
  • You understand that messages and information sent via MyChart may become part of the medical record.
  • If you do not understand something in MyChart or the message in MyChart is not consistent with your understanding of the treatment plan (such as a medication dosage that does not match what you take), you should contact your provider by sending a message or calling the office.

Accuracy and Integrity of Information

  • Although ARC attempts to ensure the integrity of the Site, it makes no guarantees as to the correctness or accuracy of the information. It is possible that MyChart could include typographical errors or other inaccuracies. If you believe that medical information is inaccurate, you can request an amendment by contacting the Patient Advocate at 512-231-5590.
  • ARC makes no representations whatsoever about any other web site that you may access through MyChart. When you access a non-ARC site, please be advised that it is independent from ARC, and that ARC has no control over the content on that web site, and ARC does not endorse or accept any responsibility for the content or use of any other linked site.

Access to ARC MyChart Outside of the United States

To ensure the security of your protected health information (PHI), accessing MyChart from outside of the United States may not be possible. If you try to log in from a different county and receive a login denial message, you will not be able to access your MyChart account until you return to the U.S.

When you travel, we recommend you download your Lucy Summary from MyChart before you leave. You Lucy Summary is a copy of your allergies, medications, current health issues, procedures, test results, and immunizations.

For questions about how to download your record, call MyChart Support at 512-272-4357, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
