Our provider directories list our Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), specialists, participating hospitals and ancillary health care providers. There are thousands of doctors and many leading hospitals ready to care for you. We combine the resources of independent physicians, multi-specialty groups, ambulatory care centers, ancillary providers and hospitals to provide you access to high quality health care providers you expect. Please use these directories as references when you need to choose a provider for health care services.

Indicates provider is board certified. Whether the physician has qualified for, taken, and passed a comprehensive test of knowledge in his/her clinical specialty. The physician reports this information to MHP initially and as changes occurs. MHP verifies the physician’s certification status and certification expiration date initially and when the certification expires. To confirm board certification on your own, you can go to www.abms.org.

Indicates the provider has completed the cultural and linguistic training.

McLaren Health Plan Community does not use quality measures, member experience measures or cost-related measures to select practitioners, nor does it use quality measures, member experience measures, patience safety measures or cost-related measures to select hospitals.

Hospitals listed in our directories report at the time of initial credentialing — and as changes occur — whether they have sought and achieved compliance with the standards of a nationally recognized entity that assesses the quality and performance of hospitals. MHP verifies the accreditation status with the accrediting organization initially and at least every three years thereafter or when the accreditation expires, whichever comes first. This information may change in between the three-year reverification period.

MHP annually surveys its health care providers to assess the provider network’s ability to deliver culturally appropriate care to members and identify potential needs and where we can improve.

Training and education is offered to our providers and office staff regarding cultural responsiveness and interpreter information.

MHP collects data regarding language services available through the practice; offices offering remote video or telephonic interpreters, and bilingual specialty vendor information.
