Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cosmo from A bit skeptical at first… I have a fairly large lot and have for decades mowed it by hand because it is on a 10-15º slant. I was going to buy a zero turn thinking it would be better on slopes. I quickly found that was not true. Then I found a review that said the CC 30 handled his yard fine. I have to admit I was a little hesitant the first couple times out, but once I got a decent pattern established all is well. This thing handles it like a champ. There are a few spot I still wouldn't want to try, but I now mow 90% of my lawn with it and the lawn looks better than ever. Very glad I made the purchase, can't wait to mow again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by MikeinKY from In general a nice mower A nice mower whose main advantage is that it will go through a 3 foot gate & is suited for small yards. Does not have a lot of transmission power & can struggle in reverse when backing up a slight incline. Turning radius is always important but when making very sharp turns the steering/tires can bind. Gas tank could be larger. Frame seems to flex quite a bit when going over rough ground. One main improvement over Cub Cadet mowers of the past is that mulch plug & deck chute install with wing knobs(wing nuts) which is a big improvement over the rubber elastic strap of previous mowers. Seat is comfortable. You can find a less expensive 30" mower but they usually don't have hydrostatic transmission is a big advantage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RGR Irondequoit from All around great mower ! We can’t be happier with our purchase of this Cub Cadet. We added on the grass catcher (perfect) and a trailer too. Our Cub not only gives us a great cut on our lawn but also doubles as a all around work horse for our greenhouse build, gardens and cleanup on our 1.2 acre property, and it’s fun as well. We researched all mowers in this class before purchasing our Cub, overall best mower we found, in addition; we have hills on our property and this Cub was the only one in it’s class that was actually rated for hills, amazing ease of use and comfortable to use. Thanks Cub Cadet

Rated 5 out of 5 by CharlieH from Great mower for small or bumpy lawns. I like the exercise I get from using a push mower. However, there are times I just want to get the lawn mowed, and as quickly as possible. Also, my lawn has some uneven spots that resulted in ripped up grass and dirt when I used a 42" tractor that someone loaned me last year. The CC 30 H Rider is great for both issues. It cuts over an hour off my normal mowing time, and the cut is narrow enough that it's not affected by the uneven areas in my yard. The mower is easy to start, easy to switch to mowing in reverse, and the safety features make it impossible to step off the mower while the blade is engaged (the mower shuts off). I wish I had purchased this mower last year when I was mowing every three days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JayDawg from Convenient Size, Great Power I just got the Cub Cadet CC 30 Rider with the rear engine. I love it! For it's size, it's got great power and the engine is not too loud. I had to cut some really tall and thick grass and not once did the mower bog down. The size of the mower is convenient for fitting it in the back of my Chevy Colorado pickup truck. Of course, I would love to ride one of the big Enduro tractors, but I do have some tight spots to drive around, so the CC 30 is perfect! Smooth running and powerful. And, with the engine in the rear, I don't have exhaust blowing in my face!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joseph1918 from Love this little Mower! Been using my mower for a month now. The lawn has never looked so good! I’ve even received comments from neighbors on how good it looks. This mower doesn’t leave ruts or tracks across the lawn like my push mower. Installed the bagger attachment and both work great. The reverse safety feature allows me to continue to mow while backing up. Should have purchased this system years ago!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yardnerd from The Little Mower That Will Not Quit. I purchased this little mower after I decided that my Pro Series 54 inch was getting a bit tired. I am so pleased with this mower I decided to purchase another Cub Cadet (Cub Cadet LT 42 in. 547cc Fuel Injected Engine Gas Hydrostatic Lawn Tractor with Cub Connect Bluetooth ). To ease the work on the H Rider. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a great quality piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by The CC Rider from So far so good!!!! Example: I bougI live in Central Pennsylvania where unfortunately have been under a lot of rain/heat the past month. I had put off making this purchase for about a year now, however my push mower broke right in the middle of high grass and high temperatures. This mower came yesterday and was all put together just had to uncrate it, add some gas and off I went. My grass in some areas was all but knee high, damp and my lawn is just shy of a ½ acre with one small hill. Although there was a time or two the mower did bog a little (which would be expected in these conditions) it did a great job. I ran over the lawn twice in the time it would take me to push mow it. I do think I will upgrade to the Bagger though in the future. Hopefully it will continue to run great, at this point defiantly a Cub Cadet fan!!!!!ht this a month ago and am so happy that I did...
