It has begun. The tournament is dual hosted in Australia and New Zealand.http://www.icc-cricket.com/cricket-world-cup
Opening match NZ vs Sri Lanka. NZ have posted a decent 331, Sri Lanka run chase to begin in 30 minutes.
A hilarious live commentary by a bunch of NZ Comedian cricketing enthusiasts can be heard here.

Go the mighty NZ Black Caps!

Australia should be expelled for that last ball.

The umpires should be expelled for that, not the players.

Yes but I have a biased illogical hatred towards Australia.

I think I put you wrong, it's in a couple of hours from now.http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc-cricket-world-cup-2015/engine/match/656405.html
Forgot "local time" on espncricinfo.com meant local where game is playing (which is Adelaide, 2 hours behind NZ).

Zimbabwe were doing so well when they had South Africa at 4 wickets for 83 runs but a massive partnership between Duminy and Miller took the game away from the bowlers with the total blowing out to 339!
Zimbabwe have begun their innings...India doing well at the moment. Listening to the game on the radio, the atmosphere sounds fantastic! No doubt they will post a massive total for Pakistan to chase.

Zimbabwe chasing pretty well, though, to be fair.228/5 off 39. Big ask for last 10 overs though.

And another wicket! 5/87 in the 24th over.Commentators are suggesting it may have been worth a challenge but lost that opportunity due to the previous wicket being incorrectly challenged.

from espncricinfo.com: "From wobbling on 87 for 5, West Indies have managed to rally back to finish with a sizable total of 304 for 7, thanks largely to the 154-run stand for the sixth wicket between Lendl Simmons and Darren Sammy. Sammy fell 11 short of what would have been his maiden ODI ton, but Lendl managed to press on to get to the mark. Dockrell was the pick of the bowlers with his spell of 3 for 50, while the other Irish bowlers chipped in as well."Gonna be a big ask for Ireland to claw this back.

After ten overs Ireland have 61 runs without loss. Doing a good job keeping even with the required run rate.

99/1 now off 18 overs - run rate 5.5, required is 6.5, so they're right in this.
